Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DYOR Project ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform and websites (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, our identity provider supplies your email address and basic profile details (such as name) and an organization membership used to gate beta access.
- Wallet information. If you connect a Web3 wallet, we process your public wallet address to verify ownership. We never receive your private keys or seed phrase.
- Usage and device data. We collect analytics about how you interact with the Service — pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, and device/browser type — to operate and improve the product.
- Preferences. Watchlists, saved settings, and similar data you create while using the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and gate invite-only beta access.
- To send service-related communications, such as alerts you configure.
- To understand usage patterns through aggregated analytics.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
3. Third-party providers
We rely on trusted third parties to deliver the Service. These may include an authentication provider (to manage sign-in and beta membership), product-analytics tooling (to measure usage), an email delivery provider (for alert notifications), and market-data providers (to supply prices and indicators). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices, and we share only what is necessary for their function.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality such as staying logged in.
5. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained longer.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You may close your account at any time.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
